Putting your music on vinyl offers superior audio quality and a tangible, collectible format that appeals to audiophiles and most dedicated fans. Mastering: The music is specifically mastered for vinyl to ensure optimal sound quality.
Lacquer Cutting: The mastered audio is used to cut a lacquer disc, which serves as the master copy.
Electroplating: The lacquer disc is coated in metal to create a stamper, which will be used to press the vinyl records.Pressing: Vinyl pellets are heated and pressed into the stamper to form the records.
Quality Control: The pressed records are inspected for any defects and tested for sound quality.
Packaging: The finished vinyl records are packaged with album artwork, inserts, and protective sleeves before distribution.
Artists and labels can sell vinyls directly to fans by setting up a personal website, promoting through social media, and offering records at live shows and events. Engaging directly with fans via email newsletters, crowdfunding campaigns, and exclusive fan clubs can also boost sales.
The typical turnaround time for producing and delivering vinyl records is approximately 4-6 weeks. This timeframe includes the entire process of making a vinyl record from when we have all of the assets in hand to the point of shipping.
