I can't find my music in Apple Music. What's going on?
Apple Music publishes a Style Guide that all releases must abide by in order to be delivered and shown on Apple Music and iTunes.
While Unchained Music does allow some artwork and data that does not meet these style guidelines, any release that does not meet these guidelines will not be published in Apple Music.
Common reasons for non-delivery include:
- All UPPERCASE, lowercase, or MiXeD cAsE titles
- The following words must be lowercase: a, an, and, as, but, for, from, nor, of, or, so, the, to, and yet
- Advertising in song titles, including URLs
- Dates of future releases
- Search terms, including genres in the title
- Generic titles, including emotions, genres, and sequential titles (track 1, track 2, track 3, etc)
- Including unnecessary information in the title that is not needed to identify the track, such as Single, Album, Bonus, 24 bit, Spatial Audio, Dolby, Official, etc.
- Self censoring of titles
- Generic templates for cover artwork
- URLs, Logos, QR codes, Barcodes, or Other Streaming Services present on the cover art
- Pornography or artwork that promotes any discrimination by race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national/ethnic origin, or other identities.
